Plans

After work, I will drive to Epterode and walk to the hash.

Expedition

The last two weeks had been pretty nice, regarding the weather: spring had come, it was dry and the sun was shining between 8 and 10 hours each day, bringing us temperatures of almost 20 degrees. This felt so well after the long and pretty dark winter! But, last night, temperatures dropped extremely and it even started to snow again! So, this morning, after waking up 4:30 am to get ready for work, I saw a white landscape when I looked out of the window...

After work (it had been snowing a little all the day), I drove to Epterode and parked my car in a dead end street and started a little walk from there. In this area, there was quite a lot of snow, some 15 to 20 cm I guess (in less than 24 hours), but it still was ok enough to get to the hash, which turned out to be only 5 meters away from a fence that was around private property - so I was very lucky today! I had to get off the road, leading directly to the last and lonely house there, and because of the snow, I couldn't see if there was a path or if I was just going through some bushes. But who cares? I managed to reach the hash, took some pics and went back to my car and drove home, got a shower and was happy to put on some dry clothings hehe...
