Plans

I would have prefered to take the train from Berlin via Angermünde to Tantow, and cycle over the border. However, it seems that there are rail problems at Angermünde and they are using busses which are probably not able to carry my bike.

Walking over the border from Tantow to Gryfino should be possible but is a bit long at 13 km one way, so instead I planned to take public transport all the way to Gryfino instead. That would mean getting train tickets from Polregio, which was easier than expected. And this way I get to see Szczecin!

From Berlin, I took the train to Angermünde, from there the bus to Szczecin, from there the train to Gryfino, and walked the rest of the distance.

The weather was nice, and there were other people walking in the forest. I first found a Geocache (GC96JY1) next to a minor path not far from the destination. Can you spot it in the picture? Then, on the other side of the main forest path, I reached the Geohash's coordinates. My first one in Poland!

Afterwards, I walked back to the station in Gryfino and took the train back to Szczecin. After exploring Szczecin for a bit, I took the train to Passow, from there the bus to Angermünde, and from there the train back to Berlin.
