Location

On a field north of Frankenhain

Participants

Digiphono

Plans

Drive to Frankenhain, park my car nearby and do a little walk to the hash.

Expedition

Todays hash was in my old homezone, so I knew the location pretty well. At least, I knew the parking lot where I could park my car - a very desolate and neglected place - there's obivously no interest to keep this place clean and once made for tourists to have a rest and a little picnic, this now got into an area that is avoided by travellers...

But, as said, for todays hash this was the best location to park my car - from there I had to walk only 300 meters to get to the hash. It was unclear if the hash was on a field or a meadow and I didn't know what to expect. Luckily it turned out to be a huge area with wild flowers, no agriculture and no unharvested cornfield, so entering the field wasn't something forbidden. Only had to do a little hashdance to get as accurate as less than one meter! Easy as that! Took some pics for evidence and then returned to my car.

After that, I visited some geocaches in the surrounding villages, as well as on the Hohe Meißner (the highest mountain in this area), before I got home early in the evening...
