I pulled out of the driveway just at 1pm. Getting to the first hash led to no real excitement as the roads between here and there are well marked and pretty much follow the Rails-to-Trails. I only had to turn around twice when the directions called for a turn only needed because a trail was splitting off from the road but rejoining it shortly. I got to my planned parking spot just at 2:30. When I pulled in, I realized it was at the neighborhood pool. There was a tow-away sign but only one car in the lot, so I took a chance. I walked up the hill on the north side of Sonoma Valley Circle to the stop sign. It was very quiet in the neighborhood and I crossed the intersection diagonally to the west side of Summer Lake Drive, heading for the house on the corner of Nin Street. Just as I passed the property line, the hash was in the grass between the sidewalk and the curb. YAY! First achieved hash. Look at that smile. As I walked back to the car, I stopped and spoke to a kitten. I let it smell my fingers but did not pet it, so no Hashcat award. Besides, I didn't take its picture so it double didn't count. Back at the car, I pulled up the directions for hashpoint 2.

Expedition

Back at the car, I pulled up the directions for hashpoint 2 (See 2024-03-16 28 -82).
