Expedition

I thought this was going to be a nice bicycle geohash after a workday. I would cycle about 5 km from work to the hashpoint and then about 10 km home. I got going at about 4 pm and made my way to Erkkola bridge where I took a series of photos of the river. When I started pedalling again, I heard a loud CRACK and suddenly felt no resistance in the pedals. I first thought that the chain had fallen off the gear, but when I looked it was obvious that the chain had snapped, and there was no way I could continue. I decided to abandon the expedition and considered going home by bus but ended up calling my fiancée who was home and asking if she could pick me up with the car. She was glad to come but, despite the hashpoint being trivial to reach by car, wanted to return home soon, so no coordinates reached today. Now I know what to do in the weekend: buy a new chain and fix the bicycle.
