Graticules by continent

A graticule page can belong to more than one of these if it spans two continents (e.g. Panama).

Do not class a graticule page directly in a continent category. Class it in its country (or state/province), and then the country in the continent. If a graticule is a territory of a country from a different continent from its own, class it first in its territory, then in both the country it belongs to and and the continent it is in. Example: Category:Canary Islands.

The "continent" Oceanic islands is used here to class graticules containing land, but too far from any continent to be classed in one. The subcategories listed in Category:Graticules by body of water may also be useful for categorizing countries that are small islands.
