The US Eastern Time Zone is either 4 or 5 hours behind UTC, depending on Daylight Saving Time. As such, the New York Stock Exchange opens trading for the Dow Jones Industrial Average at 13:30 UTC from March to November, and at 14:30 UTC from November to March.
