Today's Location

The Area

This graticule covers the part of Russia from 55° to 56° latitude, and from 37° to 38° longitude. It contains the city of Moscow, which is so large that if you wait for only a few days, you are likely to get a geohash within the Moscow Automobile Ring Road. Such geohash is usually easy to rich either by car or by Metro. Of course, it is important to check that the geohash does not land on a building; however, since Moscow is not covered by a single giant building[citation needed], this issue does not cause much inconvenience.

The hashes outside Moscow often fall in some small towns and are therefore also relatively easy to access, especially if your car is compatible with Russian rural roads. Finally, there are hashes which happen to be in a forest far from any roads. They are generally very hard to reach.
