Origin

On a hash to 2010-08-08 43 -78, I ran into a rather scary spider. I remembered a recurring theme in the XKCD comics relating to red spiders, namely, this [1], this [2], and this [3].

Proposal

I orginally thought about making this achievement about running into spiders exclusively, but perhaps it would be about running into any type of creature from the animal kingdom while in the pursuit of getting to a hash point, and taking a picture rather then running away.

Ribbon

Ought to look something like this:

This user earned the Red Spider Achievement
by finding and photographing a wild creature near the ({{{latitude}}}, {{{longitude}}}) geohash on [[{{{date}}} {{{latitude}}} {{{longitude}}}|{{{date}}}]].

Yes, the icon already existed. Thanks to Robyn.
