Hey. Bad luck.. I think you got the spirit right though. :) And you are not alone. You wouldn't believe how often people go to the coordinates for the wrong date. If you can reproduce how that happened to you, maybe we can see where we must add more warnings and blinkenlights in the various interfaces and wiki pages. -- relet 17:27, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

I think we got mixed up using the Geohash Droid app for Android (on a G1). The date must have been set to Friday, and we didn't notice because we were too excited that it was close and we were about to get our first geohash!

Now that you speak of it, I have had a similar issue with the droid at times, which displays the coordinates for the previous day under certain conditions. I usually noticed it though, and didn't think much of it. I'm absolutely not sure if this is what happened to you, but if it is, you might be able to confirm it. I have submitted a ticket here: http://code.google.com/p/geohashdroid/issues/detail?id=7 -- relet 11:52, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Huh. That IS odd, I thought I got that bug nailed a while back. I'll have to look more into it, though as a workaround, you can tell it some other date, start the hash, back out, and give it the actual date. That should at least get you going, but I've got to figure out why it's not resetting the date on rollover like that. CaptainSpam 17:45, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
