Friday June 27

Friday Hash - Medina South Park. I've never been there, but it looks pretty easy to get to. Let's meet at 4:00 then walk the 64 meters to the actual spot - I have to leave at 4:30. --Thomcat 13:56, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Saturday Hash - Between Ballard and Fremont, maybe half a block from the Burke-Gilman trail. I'll be bicycling down to this one. As you can look up the street and see Hales, we can all qualify for the Pub_Geohash as well. Huzzah! --Thomcat 13:56, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Saturday August 30th Geohash @ PAX

I'd like to make the bold suggestion that we ignore whatever the algorithm says for this date and have it either at the Penny Arcade Expo or near the convention center--I'm assuming at least twenty of you locals are attending. Presumably, hundreds of xkcd readers and geohashers will be there and we can have the biggest meetup ever. -- Leoger

What if we instead head east to the next graticule when the point falls in or west of Puget Sound? It's always fun to go up to the mountains. - Cahlroisse

There's mountains to the west as well... Puget sound is basically the eye of a geological hurricane. Everywhere you go, there be mountains. So don't discount the west side trips. - --Nukewaste 22:21, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Gas concerns rule me out for this weekend (5/30 to 6/01). Mayhaps those who are going can offer carpooling services?

Carpooling should always be part of the plans! We should start hashing it out Friday morning for a Saturday trip. This city has a reputation to uphold, after all. --Leoger

Saturday June 21st Geohash

So, for the first time in awhile, I have a free Saturday (I think). I definitely would like to make an excursion to wherever the Seattle GeoHash is that day or an alternate. Morethen willing to pick up people and/or carpool. Takers? - Narfy

2008-06-21 47 -122 -- in Puget Sound. Mount Rainier graticule looks achievable, if you want to climb from 3200' to 5200' up a forested slope. Seriously, though, two weeks is around the 4th of July - that might be our best bet for a meetup. --Thomcat 14:14, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
