:Welcome.  I'm a Sheffielder/S.Yorkshirer but, as you can see, have been known to wander your way.  We'll see what happens.  2011-04-10 looked temptingly interesting, maybe even a Hashcard opportunity on the road from where the footpath departed, but don't know if it was good for you and so could have dragged me all that way for a proper Meetup.  Or there may even be a handy weekday one (see 2011-04-08) within your reach if after-work timescales worked for you as well as me.  Tomorrow (2011-04-13) is probably too much in the midst of a field for me to consider a quick jaunt to the northern edges of the graticule, though... :) --[[User:Monty|Monty]] 10:42, 12 April 2011 (EDT)

Roll call?

Just had a look at the page history, and apart from myself and Archmage Cat, the only people to have edited the page within the last 12 months are a couple of visitors (MykaDragonBlue who is now actively wandering around mainland Europe, and Sourcerer who is actually based in 52 +1 but has made a recent visit and may at least be back).

Looking at tomorrow's location (today's, if you accept the heretical proposition that being now three hours beyond midnight means something :), which is 'only' 20 or so miles away (doubled, to include the return journey), and maybe worth a drive, I was thinking it would be even more worth it if there was anyone else likely to be around. (My own visit would probably be getting on to 6PM, if at the end of the working day I decided I could wander up there after all. This applies to most possible weekday opportunities, with the possible exception of Thursdays, which have been fairly lucky for me.)

So, it may be a bit late to be sure about '2011-03-30 53 -1', but just wondered who else might be lurking out there... tactically awaiting their very own Couch Potato award to get their own Geohashing career rolling, or something.

So, anybody want to pipe up? :)
