Use {{location|FR}} to tag expeditions that took place in France. It will add Category:Meetup in France to the expedition.

Using département numbers/ISO 3166-2 abbreviations, which in most cases are the first two digits of the post code, you may also tag the département that the expedition took place in. Some non-metropolitan parts of France have their own ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 codes, for instance use {{location|GP}} for Guadeloupe.

If the category link appears red, do not worry and create the category. Make sure that it is included in the appropriate parent category, for instance, Category:Meetup in Département de l'Aveyron is a subcategory of Category:Meetup in France. The subcategories should be sorted in by their respective code.
