Bienvenid@s. I'm a Spanish teacher and all-around communication(s) nerd. I made an account while still a lowly grad student at Wake Forest University (though my alma mater, and the owner of most of my heart, is UNC-Chapel Hill) to hold myself to my goal of starting to geohash. And as of May 14, 2012, I've met that goal and am totally hooked.

Birdray earned the Prize poultry Consolation Prize by chickening out on the (35, -79) geohash on 2012-11-24 because they were too shy to talk their way onto private property.
