Fairly new to the game, keeping my eye out for the local, easily accessible hashes, and maybe go further afield on the weekends. Ive noticed that due to Auckland's shape, a fair chunk end up in the surrounding ocean (no fair, and disappointing!). Just realised NZ's potential in claiming East geohash achievement (record is currently 175.547533°E), currently held by InvaluableKiwi, will keep my eye on that! (hehe, just claimed it for myself, and it was easy! - theres still three more graticules east of this point so still open for the taking) A kiwi was also the holder of the South geohash achievement, but got pipped by someone in South America.
