I have been geo''caching'' for some time (first found april 2006), though my enthusiasm for geocaching has declined recently because the map is getting filled with trivial no-brainer traditionals and numbers are all that matters to some (not to say most). I have been geocaching for some time (first found april 2006), though my enthusiasm for geocaching has declined recently because the map is getting filled with trivial no-brainer traditionals and numbers are all that matters to some (not to say most). I got to know about geohashing from a colleague at work who read an article about geohashing at the xkcd blag and I instantly liked the idea.

My home graticule switches between Bruxelles, Belgium (most weekdays; near Leuven) and Rotterdam, Netherlands (mostly weekends; near Antwerp). I move around by bike, feet, train and sometimes carpooling. The GPS-unit I currently use is a Garmin Oregon 200.
