So, it has come to this. You stumbled upon me and out of curiosity? admiration? feeling better by browsing 'lesser' peoples profiles? ...? you want more information. A few basic facts is all you will get. If that doesn't satisfy your needs, contact me and I'll see what I can do.
- I have been geocaching for some time (first found april 2006), though my enthousiam for geocaching has declined recently because the map is getting filled with trivial no-brainer traditionals and numbers are all that matters to some (not to say most).
- I got to know about geohashing from a colleague at work who read an article about geohashing at the xkcd blag and I instantly liked the idea.
- My home graticule switches between Bruxelles, Belgium (most weekdays; near Leuven) and Rotterdam, Netherlands (mostly weekends; near Antwerp).
- The GPS-unit I currently use is a Garming Oregon 200.
- I move around by feet, bike, train and sometimes by carpooling.
