Use 4 squiggles (~~~~) to sign your comment with your name and the current time.
Use a colon (:) at the beginning of a reply to someone else. That indents it nicely.
Use 2 colons (::) to reply to a reply.

If you need more than 15 colons you probably want to get on the instant messenger!

Hey, sorry I didn't reply to your email in time. Both User:04housemat and myself were considering the geohash in Romsey, but decided against it after realising how far it was, and how little money we had for the train. Score card

I see you've used my score card :) I was looking at mine earlier, and I realised that I haven't hashed in the Swindon graticule yet, which is astounding, considering how limited the Southampton options usually are - and perhaps even more astounding that you haven't either, and you're a local! :) --macronencer 14:10, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

yeah i know, isn't it shocking! the problem is that i'm right at the bottom of swindon, and the trains are usually more convenient going south. one day there will be a geohash that falls near winchester, chandler's ford, hursley, twyford, shawford, salisbury, andover micheldever or basingstoke. those i can get to fairly easily. i often say to myself, "maybe tomorrow!" you just never know! --sermoa 14:17, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

actually there was quite recently a geohash in a field north of winchester that i could have walked to after work. if i had a gps device i would have done it, but without one i would not know when i was in the right place. --sermoa 14:18, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
