The geohash was located in a cleared, grassy field beside a commercial plant nursery.

Robyn had to cross the border to update paperwork, so continued the extra 35 km to the geohash. reached this point.

Expedition

You'll note on the tracklog (to be posted later) a number of back and forths before I finally got to the point. I drove past the geohash, turned around, drove past again, parked at a nursery, walked past, saw that the point was 25 metres into a gated field, walked back to the nearest house, where there were numerous vehicles parked (ooh, geohash party) and rang the doorbell. No one answered. I figured they were in the garden, so I walked around the long driveway looking for them, getting in the process 11 metres from the geohash, but on the other side of a tall fence with fine, possibly rabbit-proof mesh.

I followed the driveway back around and discovered that it went back to the nursery, and the cars parked could be nursery employees. I found one and asked her if the nursery owners lived in the house. She said yes, but they were away. Did they own the field? She had wondered the same thing.

In the end I said, "Ah, it's 25 steps into an ordinary field with no livestock and no "No Trespassing" signs, and the probable owners are away." And so I zeroed the GPS and left.
