The hashpoint was in the forest next to E10, not far from Rautas.

As I was passing through Kiruna, I discovered a hitchhiker (an english medicine student that was going hiking in the mountains with some friends) I gave a lift to Abisko (a slight detour of about 160 km).

Excellent opportunity for a drag-along, maybe, but it was getting late and I deemed the hashpoint wasn't very interesting anyway. I checked it out on the way back, and well... indeed it wasn't.

  • This ought to be the hashpoint. I don't know why I would have such a picture otherwise. E10 is in the background.

  • Wildlife report: IIRC I saw some moose. I think there were three of them but apparently I was too slow to get a proper photo. If you can spot them anywhere in this picture, let me know.
