Decided I could hit this one pretty easily after work today. Then remembered that I have a commitment already tonight with my wife, so I would not be getting home until 9:00pm at the earliest. I decided that I could go ahead and go at that time to get the hash, I would just have to tough out the late hour (the fact that I had gotten up at 4:30am this morning wasn't going to help).

Expedition

By the time I got home from the movie, put the kids to bed and got my stuff togehter it was 10:30pm. The hash was in Portsmouth, Va which is one of the 5 cities that make up this area. I had to drive through downtown Norfolk and take the midtown tunnel under the river to Portsmouth. The road the hash fell on runs between a row of houses and a park. I easily found the road and was able to drive right to the hash.

There were no speed limit signs posted, but as this is a neighborhood area within city limits it has to be 30mph. I was certainly able to race down the street fast enough to qualify for the Speed Racer. I had initially thought that I could get a Tron also, but soon realized during the planning stage that the road the hash was on was a dead end. Maybe next time. As it was already 11:00pm when I got there, I was really tempted to hang around for the midnight award, but I was just too tired. I put my hashmark on the road and headed for home.
