Expedition

Bishop Wash: I moved to San Angelo in late August and have been looking for a good geohash to break the virgin status of this graticule. Friday morning I checked the hashes for the day and the weekend and discovered this one was within two miles of my house and appeared to be just off a street. I programmed my GPS, grabbed my wife and a camera, and headed off to find the hash.

We arrived on Archer Street and turned east on Upton Street. I pulled over to determine where the hash was and was surprised to find that we were sitting on the hash. The numbers matched exactly. We took pictures of the GPS unit and views from the car. Then, I turned around to attempt driving through the hash for another Speed racer achievement. I didn't see a speed limit sign and assumed a residential street would have a limit of 25 or 30 mph. From the picture, I hit 28 mph.
