We were lucky once again in that the hash was within our home graticule and a lowly 40 minute drive away. We were unlucky in that there was over two inches of snow the night before and that it was *still* raining. We decided that the weather wasn't enough to stop us since we get so few points in our home graticule. The over head map showed a farm right at the field so we stopped in to ask if we could trek out for a picture. The farmer was amused and even asked if we were in a club. He'd built a new barn and pathway out into the field since the over head picture was last taken and suggested that might get us to the point without too much trouble. The packed down pathway was muddier than the field so we walked through the field instead. We found our point as the wind was picking up and made it back to the car just before the rain poured down again. There was no cake today since we went right after Red Velvet got out of work. Angel Food suggested mud cake and was called names for it. Red Velvet's boot died during the expedition. RIP boot!
