On Friday, we started checking the weekend points and found that the Corning graticule on Sunday was a chance at speed racer! Red Velvet was worried that it might be far enough into the countryside to be a 55 mph zone which would make taking a picture difficult. Angel Food drove the down the block and past the point so we could find where it was and hopefuly locate a speed limit sign. All the near by signs were for 45 mph. This first pass at speed was beautiful but when we pulled over to review the photo, we noticed we'd forgotten to change the settings to show the speed :(. A couple passes later, we had another good shot at about the right speed and Red Velvet was feeling car sick from reading the GPS too long. A nice standing still group photo at the point and some cake later, everything was better.
