This particular hash was quite close to the road so it would have been dangerous for us to try for a speed racer. From the hashpoint there was less than 200ft to a blind left hand corner with a 40mph speed limit on the road. To add to this the road on this day seemed to busy while we were there. We instead parked in the nearby lot and walked over to the point. It's hard to see but there is a chain link fence on the corner by the four lane road and only about .5 meters of shoulder.
