Today's point looked very easy to reach, and we had some time after the Doctor Who club meeting in Nampa, so we headed out to the geohash. As expected, it was reached easily. We drove through the hash at ~60mph, then turned around and came back to the spot and stopped to take pictures. It was dark, and while the road seemed mostly deserted, any vehicles which did go by would be traveling very fast, so I left my car's lights on while we got out, for improved visibility. This turned out to be a mistake. The camera in my phone was acting up, and being difficult about getting decent pictures. So we spent longer outside than anticipated. And when we got back into the car, we discovered that the battery was too low to successfully start the engine. Fortunately, there was a dairy nearby with people working, and one of them was kind enough to drive over and jump-start my car.
