I'm going to stop by on my way home from work. It's almost directly south of me anyway! -- Rex Wolf (talk) 13:28, 20 August 2014 (EDT)
Expedition
Driving south to the hashpoint was simple, though I had some trouble figuring out exactly where to turn for the burial park. I ended up turning down the street just before the burial park, but there was no fence between that road and the park, so I just parked and walked through the line of trees.
It hadn't occurred to me before now that there was a significantly high chance of finding somebody who had unwittingly claimed the Coffin Potato Achievement. This made me doubly glad that I had decided to come out to today's hash!
Finding the hashpoint itself was as troublesome as always. I walked back and forth for a bit until I found the point where the map seemed to agree with the GPS (within a five-meter margin of error). And it was right on top of the grave of one Wong Hong Foon. (If I read the surrounding gravemarkers correctly, I believe "Wong" is the family name, and "Hong Foon" the individual name. But I could be very wrong.)
There's a big tree nearby, perfect for displaying the hash sign. I kept it a bit lower than my normal, so as not to draw undue attention to itself. This is a burial park, after all--some decorum is warranted.
