The hardest part of this expedition was finding a safe parking place on the very narrow roads, bordered by hedges or ditches. Then it was routine. Follow the field perimeter and then some tractor tracks. The hashpoint was near a solitary tree in the middle of the field.
This was the darkest of nights. There was no moon and low cloud blocked the star light and any stray light from the nearby market towns. The wonders of LED torches.
