In an open field just off the west shoulder of NW 26th Ave, Ridgefield, Clark County, WA, USA

Bail on work early to avoid I-5 traffic, take 26 East to i-5 North, get off at the appropriate exit, park the car on the side of the road and take a leisurely stroll to the geohash.
Jim's plan was similar, but he went somewhat later.
Expedition
Success! Stayed a bit later at work than planned, so waited for I-5 to clear out. Left home around 1930, took 26 east to I-5 north. Exited at 14, turned left and went about half a mile to a small gravel road. Parked on the road side and walked about 10 feet into some tall unkempt grass. Took pictures.
Jim's trip was similar, except that he didn't take any pictures.
