Here was another location without 3G. There was a lay-by to park and a field perimeter track heading in the right direction. Later I used tractor tracks. The hashpoint was about 800 metres from the road. The wind turbines were conspicuous and making their characteristic noise. At ground level there was a lot less wind. After the walk, I drove past another gate, potentially usable, which had a big sign indicating that security dogs were in use. Luckily I was not troubled. There have been a few illegal "rave" parties in the area and I suspect the sign was a deterrent. It does not make much sense to protect oil seed rape with dogs.
