Expedition
Another belt of wind and rain had passed through and the ground was very wet. A track led around the field perimeter and there was a place to park where it joined the road. A very soggy tractor track led close to the hashpoint near the copse. Although it was cloudy and wet, the moon was giving useful light through the clouds. This was yet another Atlantic depression bringing mild air from the tropics. It was 12.5 C.
