Visit this on the way home from a "Curry Off" at friends in Essex.
Expedition
I parked in a passing bay on the almost empty narrow road. A public footpath led into the field. A right turn led between two crops, perhaps wheat and beans, both still seedlings. There was a short leg of woodland perimeter and finally tractor tracks led to the hashpoint. It was breezy and sunny with rain storms and wind forecast later. The April typical weather has arrived about four days early.
The curry the previous night was excellent and the winners - Chocolate finger cake and Lemon Easter egg cakes for afters!
