Plans

This hash is in a middle of a street. In fact the street is just around the corner of where we used to live. This should be a cinch!

Expedition

As we pulled up, with the sun fading, we realised that this geohash was not going to be as simple as anticipated. While the geohash was on the street, there were also roadworks on the street! Fortunately, the hash was just on the outside of the fenced off area. Which is just as well, as there were workmen in the area who looked a bit growly. So we snapped a quick photo, stuck the geohash poster to the fencing, and fled!

Given that I used to live just around the corner from this hash, had driven down the road countless times, crossed the road on numerous walks, pushing kids in prams, etc, etc, I am in no doubt that I've crossed this point numerous times, so I think it's worthy of a Déjà vu geohash achievement!

As for proof, well I've got this cool little app on my iPhone called "Fog of World". Is anyone else out there in Geohashing Land fans of Fog of World? Anyway, the basic idea of Fog of World is that the world starts off Fogged, and as you travel through the world, you start to unfog it. As you can see, all the streets around here have been unfogged, including the one with the geohash.
