My phone troubles continue. According to this, I've been time travelling. The wiki history time stamp is OK. I arrived on the right day at 23:06. I took the battery out to check the SD card. It should have locked back onto the correct time but no luck. It went back to the year dot.
The expedition was easy enough. There was a place to park beside a sewage pumping station. It was all enclosed so there were no smells. Tractor tracks led through the young oil seed plants. I was able to zero the distance. Inland the air temperature was -1.5 C. Here there was ice on the ground but the air was above freezing nearer the heat reservoir of the North Sea.
