Expedition

First expedition, four minutes after geohashpoint becomes known - measure how far the hash point is over the back fence. Just over 10 meters away. This is also the measurement used for the closest Honorable Mention for a Couch Potato Geohash.

This is also the soonest a geohashpoint was reached after announcement of coordinates. If we make a 10th anniversary change to the method, this particular option will go away, since all coordinates will be available from the previous day. The previous soonest was 2014-03-11 47 -122 (also in Ballard).

Second expedition, nobody home.

Third expedition, greeted the owner and went into the back yard to take a few pictures. Google overhead shows it within the building, but the spot was just over 2m away when I was a meter from the foundation. I call it a success.
