Pastori was delighted when it seemed that they'd be able to get their second hashpoint in the first week of their holiday. It was only 9 km from their lodgings but since they're near the archipelago, they ended up having to drive for 22.6 km. The summer is still going on, the sun was sweet and the geohashers were warm. And reaching the point was as easy as stacking hay. Driving through the winding country roads, on smaller and smaller roads, past some houses and an old wooden bridge over a narrow strait onto the last island they finally stopped at the crossroads between two roads and Pastori practically fell out of the door onto the point. After some dancing to please Wife, Pastori got an accuracy of 1.467 m. He was feeling like the sun at Naantali, which is the symbol of the city [Translator's note: Naantali is said to be the sunniest city in Finland and we have a saying that if you're ”smiling like the sun at Naantali”, you're very happy].

The way back was a little longer as they were trying to find Pastori a place where he could swim. They found it difficult. Tomorrow they're continuing their journey to a more foresty area in the mid-parts of Finland for another holiday week. They're looking forward to new hashpoints and hopefully you are too! Good health!
