From Hannover, I took the train to Algermissen, and walked the rest of the distance from there. After leaving the settled part of Algermissen there was no bike path anymore, I had to walk on the street.

A driver offered to take me where I was going, but at this point I was only 600 meters away from the Geohash, and it would be weird to explain that I need to get out in the middle of nowhere right after getting in. I declined, but thanked him.

I was lucky in two ways. It was not raining even though it had been raining earlier today, and the rain was supposed to continue according to the weather report. Also, the field on which the Geohash was located was harvested already, so my legs did not get wet from wet plants.

I was unlucky in one way though. The district that this Geohash fell in was Hildesheim, but it was so close to the bordering Peine district. I could see the sign from the coordinates, and it was less than 200 meters away. Only 0.3 square kilometers of the Peine district are located in the 52,9 graticule, a Geohash will be located here only once every 69 years. This might be the closest I will get to the reverse regional achievement of 52,9 on district level.

Anyway, I located the coordinates and recorded proof. I then walked to the sign for the Peine district and took a picture, before walking back to the train station and taking the train back to Hannover.
