The Reial Club de Polo is a private club, similar like a country club maybe, so usually entrance is only allowed for members or accompanied by a member. The internet made me believe that entrance as a spectator might be possible so I gave it a try.
Expedition
Went by train to Barcelona and wandered the streets of this rich neighbourhood. But when I arrived at the club my entrance was denied. There were this automatic gates, like on train station, that would open with some identification. Were cars entered was a guard and I approached him.
Asked him if I could visit the installations, if it would be possible to enter. He told me that only as a member, or with a member. I just wanted to look for a short time, but he couldn't leave the spot and soon enough more cars came in a he was busy.
That was that. I believe that maybe with covid restriction, they restricted a little more the entrance. Would have been particular to go there but was not possible. I must improve my negotiation skills for the future ;)
After that went for a few geocaches to redeem myself and took the train back home.
