I was debating myself the day before if I would have time to go after this one. First plan was to go there by train and walk/jog to the hash, but then I considered that maybe I could bike there. That's what I ultimately did.
Expedition
So I took Frühlingskiefer at the early afternoon and took off. The first part of the journey, to Terrassa, I kind of followed the river and train tracks. They naturally go where the terrain is easier.
Then after Terrassa I started to follow a very similar hike I did 6 years ago on this hills. Revisited some very interesting geological features and at the beginning the same path.
The difference is that back then I walked here and could take narrow and steep paths. Not this time with the bike. Well, the narrow path at least, the broader roads were still very steep. Too steep and the terrain was ugly with big stones on it. I had to carry the bike most of the part. Uphill and even some parts downhill. Someone will have to be very convincing to make me ride this hills again.
I finally reached the hash area and the hash was next to the path. Had to slightly battle the vegetation but got a good GPS reading. And I had a quite good view of the Montserrat mountain range. That was beautiful :)
The idea to ride the way back home vanished from my mind a while before reaching the hash, so I had a plan B on mind and went to Vacarisses where I would take a train back to Terrassa and there transfer to another one to go back home. An important factor was that clouds were starting to form and they would storm a few hours later.
