Since I have free today (tomorrow is holiday), I will bike there in the morning. It's also the second day when it gets darks sooner, since we just switched from DST this weekend here in Europe, so I don't think I want to go there in the afternoon.

Expedition

As planned I took Frühlingskiefer in the morning. And as I said the hash fell by the river, so I followed the streams to avoid elevation changes and cruise smoothly towards the hash.

Crossed Sant Cugat, and then Cerdanyola and there I arrived at the Ripoll river. I saw the first fluvial bird here. This river flows into the Besòs so I just had to follow it.

It was actually a very similar expedition to this one, which was also on the Besòs but more north from here.

Once on the river bank I was getting close to the hash. I stopped a few times to get closer to the river to observe and hear some of the birds there. Some of them are really nice and beautiful. Then I successfully located the hash, right on the path.

After that I decided to go home, not the same way but through Collserola, so that meant some mountain and elevations and getting tired and sweating and all of that. But all of it really worth, rewarding myself with some spectacular views of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.

Then down in the Sant Medir valley and some time later, fast as lightning, I was home already. There was nothing spooky on today's expedition, but I will be having some panellets tonight.
