Expedition

Baseball game went very well; this is right before playoffs and the winner of this game would be in them, the other going home. Knotted at 0-0 through 7, the visitors scored one in the top of the 8th and the home team managed a walk-off double with runners on 1st and 3rd for the win.

I headed west to the geohash and pub, ready for refreshment. The point was in a driveway next to a business, so I parked at the latter and walked into the former. The place appeared empty, but I didn't go to the door - people rarely appreciate sweaty visitors. From the spot I can see the pub, so that counts. Can't believe it's been more than 10 years since anyone claimed this achievement!

Said pub is a gaming pub, with role play and board games. Tonight is Wargames Wednesday, with a rousing session of Circvs Maximvs (chariot racing game, Avalon Hill, 1980). I also saw D&D, Magic, and others. Most importantly, I saw (and purchased) a pint.
