Earlier in the day, I checked geohashing.info almost on a whim and realized that the hashpoint for this graticle was actually in Vancouver! I had actually told my Dad about geohashing earlier in the week, and so I invited him to join me on the trip. He accepted, and at 6:00 we departed our house.

We walked to and waited at the Fraser & 23rd bus stop for about 10 minutes, discussing various topics.
