Meet at 13:00. Coyotebush plans to arrive by S-Bahn (because the Tegel end of the U6 line is currently replaced by bus service), eat lunch in the area, and check out the Christmas market a block away.

Oh, we so wish we could join you - Susanne and I have checked for cheap quick tickets but didn't succeed. She knows Alt-Tegel well - her aunt lives in Heiligensee and her grandmother used to run the Wassersportheim that's just across the bridge to the west. Expedition

Among various options to connect to the S25 line, coyotebush decided to bypass central Berlin as much as possible with a cross-platform transfer from the S85 at Bornholmer Str. The S25 route had lots of nice views of gardens.

After a warming lunch, and in marginally increased precipitation, coyotebush walked the remaining distance to the hashpoint, arriving a few minutes before 13:00. It seemed to be quite close to a gate in a fence. A car was waiting right there, but soon its passenger walked up and it drove away. The next pedestrian was HeNeArXn, who also zeroed in on the gate.

Together they went for a short walk along the Tegeler Hafen and across the Tegeler Insel, remarking on all the fancy homes with private parking spaces. HeNeArXn returned to the U6 bus (having pointed out this substitution will be in effect until 2026) and coyotebush returned to the S-Bahn.
