In the late morning, I took the train to Bramsche and walked the rest of the distance.
The coordinates were in the river Hase, so I had brought my water-proof phone lanyard, bathing shorts and a towel. I entered the river three times.
The first time, I had forgotten that rivers do in fact flow, and the current had drifted me down-stream before I could take any proof. The second time, I entered the river a bit up-stream and managed to get a screenshot within the radius of uncertainty. The third time, I took photos.
Freezing, I dried myself and changed back into my dry clothes. I walked back to the station and took the train back to Osnabrück.
