The Sussex, New Brunswick graticule is located at latitude 45, longtitude -65. It is centered on Sussex and covers much of southern New Brunswick between its three largest cities of Saint John to the southwest, Moncton to the northeast, and Fredericton to the northwest. Of these Saint John is the closest with most of its eastern suburbs, including the Kennebecasis River Valley area, included in this graticule. It also includes most of Fundy National Park and a large part of the Bay of Fundy. A small part of the southeast corner falls in Nova Scotia, just outside Kingston.
When the day's location falls in the Bay of Fundy, the neighbouring Saint John, New Brunswick graticule, which has a highway through that area, provides a convenient alternative.
