If you link to the graticule as Talking Rock, Georgia instead of through an external link, then in the unlikely (?!) event of someone changing the name of that graticule, the link doesn't break. -Robyn 23:10, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- Robyn, that would only happen if we moved it *and* removed the redirects. In that case neither method would work? Or am I misunderstanding you? --joannac 23:16, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- I was just thinking that it wouldn't show up in "What links here," so it wouldn't be changed by an administrator before the redirect was deleted. Or are all redirects kept forever? Or am I wrong? Amazingly, that's happened before! -Robyn 23:26, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- Ah yes, I hadn't thought of that. Good point. Although I'd probably be too lazy to change all the links. I'd just keep the redirect. --joannac 23:49, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
