That's wildlife? I thought they were domesticated ungulates of some sort. They look so tame, like urban goats. Do you know anything more about them? -Robyn 23:27, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- Umm, yes, to be precise that's what is actually inhabiting most Bavarian forests, though the ones we saw were indeed kept in a small enclosure in the village. If I had to guess, I'd say those are Western European red deer, but I can't guarantee that's correct. In fact they were pretty tame. When we arrived, they stared at us for about two minutes or so and then started moving towards us. To us, it seemed like people would regularily feed them from that fence. That would explain why a) they approached us and b) they are so fat. The T-Man 11:03, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
