Talk:Coffin Potato Achievement
Suppose I buy my coffin while I'm still alive and cart the thing out to the meetup. Would that count? Wil 21:41, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
No, cause it wouldn't be your "home", thus missing out on the crucial "potato" element of the achievement :-P --Kieran 02:07, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
I think it would count if you've pre-purchased your grave plot. E.g., if your spouse has died and you will be buried next to them, you could claim this prize while still living. -- Phyzome 01:00, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
You would not yet be a coffin potato, so no. --Kieran 03:08, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
How about a reverse coffin potato - being buried at the hash... And hopefully exhumed! --The ru 15:06, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- I have now updated my will to state that I want my family to organise a posthumous drag-along geohash as soon as possible after my demise. If a hash location (within a reasonable time) makes a hash cremation possible (not sure if a proper pyre is legal in the UK), that would be awesome :) -- Angel 09:52, 1 April 2012 (EDT)
I believe these ideas are starting to get more and more idiotic, including mine.
- What if, for whatever reason, you are trapped in a coffin, underground, still alive (somehow) with the geohash being on that point, and the hashers hear your screaming and save you? would that count?--Hewhoamareismyself 17:57, 20 January 2011 (EST)
Oslo Coffin Potato
Do we have any evidence on this one? It's obviously a graveyard hash, but all the pictures look like different names to me. I noticed while doing some categorization and cleaning. - Wmcduff 18:39, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Owen Elliott
I had a classmate named Owen Elliott a long time ago... but not so long ago that he could have been the one who died in 1880! Dtobias 22:29, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
