Talk:Day Late and a Dollar Short
Support I like it, gives those of us who can't make Saturday something to do. Support as an honorable-mention, undecided as an achievement. -- Jevanyn (talk) 11:11, 18 November 2013 (EST)
Oppose as an achievement, support as an honorable mention. Saturday coordinates are available a day early already, so I don't see the reason behind an achievement for taking an additional day. Mystrsyko (talk) 23:48, 20 October 2014 (EDT)
Oppose as an achievement; I've actually done this (by accident!) - I made an (undocumented, mostly from shame) retrohashing expedition because I was looking at the wrong date's hashpoint... but I don't think it's worth more than an honourable mention or a humourous gratuitous ribbon at best. --DanQ (talk) 07:47, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
I Support this as a class of strong honorable mention, and not limited to Saturdays. One of the barriers to entry in our little endeavor is that it's tough to plan around the rest of your life. Being able to plan for an expedition a day in advance and still have it acknowledged as legit might be attractive to some folks. Michael5000 (talk) 02:55, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
Oppose as this is just an inverse retrohash. If you are someone who wants to do this or accidentally does this, a gratuitous ribbon should probably be used instead. Going to a point on a day that is not the actual date goes against the main purpose of geohashing, hence why retrohashes are not typically considered as successful expeditions. --KerrMcF (talk) 01:16, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
Proposed achievements
Hello, there is actually a template for this kind of page, see Proposed achievements. Also, you may want to have a look at / link from Retro expedition. Regards, --Crox 18:24, 20 June 2011 (EDT)
