Talk:Over and under achievement
This is the same as the proposed Stacking_achievement. I would suggest putting your statement over there. --aperfectring 04:16, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
- It's a related idea, but not the same. The Stacking Achievement is about putting multiple geohashers along a vertical axis at the same time. The idea here is for a single person to reach points along a vertical axis that require separate means of access. It might be possible to encompass both concepts under broader language, but for the time being I shall intrepidly stand by my separate proposal! - I would support the integration of this into the Stacking achievement, e.g. as a Stacking achievement Single-Handedly, because all of the ideas from Stacking (levels, etc) could be so wonderfully transferred to this one as well!--HiroProtagonist 14:33, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
I also support integrating this into the Stacking achievement. Jiml 16:40, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Support integration. This achievement might motivate geohashers to not only visit the hashpoint the most convenient way, but to also try and (e.g.) climb the tree at the hashpoint for additional adventure. Merging it with the Stacking achievement will also set a limit for what "substantially different elevations" are (2 m) and clarify that it "must be accomplished by means of pre-existing terrain or structures", so people don't just jump into the air or bring stilts (though that would be an awesome Circus Geohash). --ilpadre 16:59, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
I also support integration. -Robyn 18:45, 26 May 2011 (EDT)
I support integration as well, though I prefer this achievement's name for the combination of the two. Honestly, I thought that this one was already an accepted achievement. (Alliteration always!) -Haberdasher 17:42, 8 April 2012 (EDT)
Support integration - I like it, it's one of those achievement where you need a rare special location and it promotes doing something at the spot. - Danatar (talk) 07:38, 5 May 2015 (EDT)
- support, but I would prefer the integration of the Multiple_elevations_achievement instead --Gefrierbrand (talk) 22:19, 29 June 2015 (EDT)
Support this achievement in its combined format, preferably with the name of this achievement. --KerrMcF (talk) 02:51, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
